Introducing Good Day Girl!

My dear Amici,

Thank you for your wonderful support since I first launched Eclettica.  It has been an absolute pleasure to design for you and embark on this creative journey together!

Life is an ongoing adventure and with the spirit and curiosity of an intrepid traveler I’d love to invite you to join me on the next leg! Eclettica is joining sartorial forces with my fab friend and fellow independent designer, Sophie Toohey of Mr Rose, to launch our new label in August 2013.

It’s time to say a big Hellooooo to Good Day Girl! Inspired by you, real women with an eternal zest for life; created for you, lovers of style.

Good Day Girl inhibits all of the qualities you love of Eclettica –unique relaxed style, easy elegance, beautiful fabrics and great cuts for women, with a new style direction that we know you are going to love…… Good Day Girl takes a modern approach to the fashion salon of yesteryear. Simple, direct, innovative - made to order, made for you. You choose the styles you like, in the size you want, the colours you crave, with the personal service you deserve.

With your lifestyle and individual sartorial needs in mind Sophie and I will show you how to style pieces together and work back with your existing wardrobe creating outfits to make you look and feel amazing…..day after each good day. You can then order exactly what you want, as opposed to having to choose from whatever is hanging in a shop, and in eight weeks your new styles will be ready to start wearing in perfect time for the new season. It’s all about getting organised, it’s about quality and it’s about getting what you want and gaining the know-how and confidence to put it all together.

Happy snaps from our latest workshop - The secrets of a Make-up artist!

We had so much fun at our last Workshop, The secrets of a Make-up artist, learning the tricks of the trade from the lovely and reknown make-up artist Jay-Jay! Gathered around the table we all learnt how to create the perfect natural look and jazz it up with a smokey eye for a night out! 

A huge thank you to all the gorgeous ladies who joined us for a laugh, a drink and a great afternoon. We hope to see you at our next workshop too!

An extra special THANK YOU to all our lovely Potts Pt customers who have made our stay in this vibrant, cosmopolitan neighbourhood so much fun! It's sad to say goodbye but we have lots of fab new projects planned for next season so Watch This Space!

Our Scarf Tying Workshop!

We had such a fab Saturday last week, hosting our second workshop in our Woollahra boutique - a Scarf Tying Extravaganza! With a glass of bubbly in hand and tasty nibbles, our enthusiastic scarf tyers watched as we discolsed 101 ways with a scarf on our in-house model. It was a great afternoon! We got our knot on, looked at some great scarfspiration and even solved a few problem scarf dilemmas!

If you missed out, don't worry we'll be holding another event very shortly so make sure to join our mailing list to keep up to date with our upcoming get-togethers, events and specials!
